Lois Hicks... I Want To Love You Tonight

Discover the musical talents of Lois Hicks, a multi-talented artist working with dRonyMusic Group. Lois is a singer, songwriter, actress, and novelist. A talented and diverse Southern soul performer, she was born in Deatsville, Alabama (near Montgomery). Lois became well-known to the stage at a very early age. Her earliest performances were school plays and church programs, and at the tender age of 8, she began to sing live on radio each week. As Lois matured in the singing arena, she became interested in a wide spectrum of musical genres that have continued to influence her career to this day. Her greatest influences include R & B, jazz, and the blues. Combined with a prominent gospel background, these influences laid the foundation for the Southern soul singer she is today.

Lois' Musical Career

Lois previously recorded the songs "Together at Last" and "Intimate Night" with Terry Dews, a long-time member of the group The Master Movement. Lois also released the solo album, Cornbread Hips, which provided her with the colorful nickname of the same. Her most current project is her CD, I Want To Love You Tonight, which displays and draws from the kind of Southern soul that Lois said she has been seeking for quite some time. The album was written and produced by Douglas Dumas of dRonyMusic Group™. After opening for music legends such as Little Milton, J. Blackfoot, Latimore, and T.K. Soul, Lois is ready to headline her own shows and bring absolute "scunion" to the stage.
